Welcome to the 2010 freshers!
Hey all new ultimate frisbee players! This could very well be the start of a memorable journey. You may not think it now, but ultimate frisbee and the Mohawks has given 25 years worth of Sussex students endless enjoyment, a sporting challenge, of course friends and even in some cases GB experience or a 9 year long Mohawk hair style!
You're also starting University!! A large part of university are the clubs and societies you join when you arrive. Ultimate Frisbee is something most of you probably wont have heard of before but attracts large numbers of all kinds of people and abilities. It could be the competitive pace, technical skill, the well spirited games, the social aspect, indoors or outdoors, lots of practices a week, the 3 or 4 tournaments a term, or just the chance to try a new but established sport where you can be involved as much as you want to be. The sport also attracts and caters for as many women players as it does men. Rather than explaining Ultimate more, you have a whole website and community here that will teach you.
