Final Info for Nationals

Here is the information for nationals.

We are leaving tomorrow afternoon at 4pm from the back of Falmer Bar. Please arrive at 3:45 so we can make sure everyone has arrived and all sorted.

  • Boots
  • Warm clothes/rain clothes (the weather looks quite good for the weekend)
  • Food

Please everyone pay Ashley!! Some people still haven’t paid. Also, get SportsFed.

If you fail to meet either of these criteria you will not be playing nationals.

Captains, please check and chase up where appropriate.

See you all at Varsity and the AGM tomorrow 😀

AGM Wednesday 17/04/13

Hey Mohawks!

Tomorrow is one of the biggest events of the Mohawks calendar – the Annual General Meeting (AGM for short!).

It is so important that every single one of you comes, firstly to vote in the new committee for the next year, but also to voice anything you want to about the club.

Firstly, if you want to run for a position, or if you are even thinking about it, check out this link:

Here you can see a description of all the committee roles – I urge you, even if you are 10% sure that you want to run for something, do it. Being a part of the committee is one of the best things ever.

Please arrive at Lancaster House Study Room at 5pm tomorrow (there will be people to direct you if you don’t know where that is – I hope you all know where Lancaster House is).

After the AGM is the last social of the term – it’s gonna be a big ‘un! Check out all the information on the forum here…

I will see you all tomorrow at Varsity (2:30 at the top Sports Complex, and then at 5 for the AGM – can’t wait to see all your beautiful faces!)

Lots of Love,

Prossident Pete

P.S – Album of the Week – Daughter – If You Leave – Female Vocalist, Quite chilled, beautiful; simply an absolute masterpiece. Listen over and over and it won’t get old. Enjoy!

NATIONALS & this week

Good Evening!

As most people know Nationals is finally here and many of us are heading off to Nottingham this weekend. We have paid a lot of money for travel, team fee, accommodation etc and now need people to start paying! It is going to cost people £40 which for everything we are getting is not that bad at all! (people who have already paid I will talk to you separately)

So, whether you are a squaw or 1st/2nd teams you need to transfer £40 to Ashley Yeo.

Once you have paid make sure you email [email protected] with your name, how much you have paid and your payment reference. A lot of people often don’t do this which makes it rather hard work for Ash so try and remember to email!

We are getting a big coach to Nottingham which is leaving around 4pm from campus on Friday afternoon but more information about this and accommodation room allocations will follow later in the week.

Varsity is this Wednesday at 2:30pm at falmer sports complex so come and support the team and have a splendid time. The AGM will be later in the afternoon also!

So to sum up this rather busy week, PAY ASH and attend Varsity and the AGM.

Peace out,

Hi all,

So we finally have a confirmed venue for Varsity!

2.30pm at Falmer Sports Complex on the rugby pitch after the rugby game.

Come along, enjoy the sun*, and support Mo1 against Brighton Panthers 😀

*No guarantees about the weather. If cloudy, I’m sure someone will have a copy of the popular tabloid for you to enjoy instead.

Hope to see you all there 🙂

Mohawks Photo Location and Time

The photo will take place at 12:30 (just before training) in the Debating Chamber in Falmer House – please arrive before 12:30 as there are a lot of us and will take some time getting everyone in the right places!

Mohawks Team Photo, Varsity + AGM

Hey ‘hawks!

So next Wednesday is the Team Photo! It would be really cool to see as many of you there as possible! Please bring full kit (shorts, red and black tops) and £10 to buy the photo – it will be so worth it – I have mine from the last 2 years and they bring back some great memories, and besides, you all have your loan now so I am sure you can manage!!

The Wednesday after that is a big one – both Varsity and the AGM are happening that day!

It would be great if you were all there showing your support for the team against Brighton – our game will be on Stanmer Park – more details are on the facebook event:

Shortly afterwards is the AGM! This is the most important meeting of the year, and it will take place in Falmer House – it’s where we discuss how the year went, but more importantly elect who the committee are for next year! Every vote, and voice counts, so even if you don’t want to run for anything, attendance is pretty compulsory!

More information on the committee positions can be found here:

I cannot stress enough how worthwhile and amazing it is to be on committee, so if you are still thinking about it, just go for it!!!

More emails about these will follow, but please remember these dates!

Cheers Mo’s!!

Prossie xxx

Practice tomorrow – 1pm – Stanmer Park

Hi all,

As tomorrow is a Wednesday we will be having an unofficial practice (unofficial since uni is “closed”), from 1pm on Stanmer Park (we don’t have the clump booked – please do not use it!).

See you there!
